Five of Wands

This card being a five naturally presents us with a challenge and therefore the possibility of transformation and resolution. I like to think of it as highlighting an area that needs our attention.    Either way, the experience we are having is uncomfortable right now, but if we can show up and be present for it, it will be helpful to our overall growth.  We can only gain wisdom if we choose to learn the lesson at hand.  

Instead of giving up or admitting defeat, why not stay open and ask some investigative questions.  What is really going on here; am I observing the situation with a wide angel?  What is really being asked of me;  what is the best way to show up?  These questions can only be of benefit to us especially when our instinct is to explode in anger and cause ourselves and others more harm.  

The key to resolution is in how we communicate and listen to others.  We all want to be heard; offer an authentic ear to the other and put yourself where they are.  And when you respond do so with the most love you can summon in your heart- make your heart huge- it will be the most beneficial decision you've ever made.

We have a choice- always- in how we respond to life and to others around us.  We are in full control of how we view the situation and how we interact with it.  When we allow ourselves to act from a place of creativity and delight we can find solutions and create playful scenarios that allow for a safe and loving environment of acceptance, mutual respect and inclusion.  When you realize you possess the power to shape your life in this way, the joy will overflow at the possibilities!  Life is a game or a war; a dream or a nightmare and the choice is yours.  Liberation is the experience one is left with when they have learned this lesson.  Learn to play the game of life with grace and let inspiration fuel the fire of your spirit.
