Nine of Cups

Let's consider the number 9 first; it is a sacred number; a number of vacillating states- of depths and heights,   It is the fall from grace and the will to get back up and rise again. Nines are also the number of completion, culmination  or attainment.  

Water symbolizes emotions, the subconscious and matters of the heart. So this card is about experiencing the height of emotional well being and happiness internally as well as externally. It  is sometimes called the wish card for whatever it is you are hoping to attain, it is given.

At this point in the journey you have experienced a wide range of ups and d owns and know this is part of life.  You are willing to look at the difficulties of life and embrace them because you know you can handle whatever comes.  You also understand that these experiences have a greater purpose; they strengthen you and impart valuable wisdom.

There is also, at this point, a certain level of awareness around your subconscious inter-working- a knowing on a deeper level and you come to know the divine in a more intimate way.

Take a pause here and really take stock of your achievements, especially the inner ones!  Acknowledge what you've been through and where you are right now.  Let it sink in.  You have gone through much and have come through it wiser and more capable.  Allow yourself all the happiness, pleasure, expansion and gifts of grace that come your way at this time.  Be open to receiving your heart's desire as you allow worry to fall away. This is great medicine.

On another level this card may be showing up to advise you to indulge in simple pleasures and celebration as a relief from your worry and anxiety.  Sometimes this is all that is needed.
