The Meaning

The High priestess is the guardian of the unconscious.  She sits before a thin veil of awareness which is all that separates us from our inner selves.  Her appearance in your life is a signal that you wish to get in contact with your inner resources, your higher powers.  She represents the link to the subconscious mind that can be accessed through your dreams and symbols, not through the ordinary mind. Say a prayer to her, ask her to show herself to you through dreams and visions and symbols in nature.  She is always with you, so stay open to her. There is incredible independence that comes through trusting in that voice that will come through.  You have been called to the journey back home, to yourself, trust in it.
