Eight of Cups

The time has come to move on, you can sense that things have ended.  Here we see an eclipse of the sun by the moon, indicating a time of turning within and tuning into ourselves for answers.  It is time to locate the inner compass and trust your intuition, even when it seems to call for something the ego self may not want to do.  In some way you know that the time to leave has come and although your situation still provides you with happiness, you must leave it behind and make a journey to awakening.  

This card is ruled by Saturn which represents discipline, duty, lessons we need to learn and hard work. The placement of Saturn  is in Pisces- the most spiritual sign of the zodiac. Many sages and saints have this placement in their charts.   This placement is representative of one who walks the spiritual path and is able to see what is deeply meaningful in life.  To close the door on a situation that still provides you with happiness is not so easy, but in order to fulfill your needs for more meaning and growth, you must walk through this gate.  And that is what this card is; a gate to another dimension of reality. 

What is it that your soul seeks?  Can you let go in order to serve your higher self?  This is an important and critical moment in your life that will provide necessary spiritual growth  if you can allow yourself to let go and seek whatever it is that your soul is leading you to.  Trust the inner voice, trust the whisper that speaks softly and is calling you beyond yourself.  This voice will not let you down.  Use courage and be open.  Take a chance and know you are being led by a divine force within that knows what your mind does not.  You want to be able to look back and know you allowed yourself to be guided by the life within you that knows how to nourish you and reach new heights of awareness.  Take the leap!
